...The high pitched, fragile vocals, the supportive dense layer of distorted guitars, the purely functional percussion, the dreamy atmosphere that still rocks... beautiful! ...After listening to the record I check again if this really is a self financed, self produced record. Any record company should want to sign this band!

... Bei aller Härte finden die Niederländer oft genug, auch innerhalb der Nummern, in ruhigeren Phasen Gefallen. Diese Dynamik ist ansprechend. Die Sehne des Bogens wird angespannt und gut beansprucht, allerdings übertreiben es die Musiker auch nicht mit dem Metall gießen. Man findet stets zum richtigen Zeitpunkt die berühmte Kurve...

...The extensive, exciting and extremely atmospheric six songs (with an average length of almost seven minutes) do have a connection with A Perfect Circle and Billy Howerdel's Ashes Divide, but the dreamy voice and symphonic elements could easily be compared with bands like Porcupine Tree and the Katwijk-based The Aurora Project (another Dutch band with (former) Tool influences), while the heavier parts have similar guitar storms like bands as Oceansize and Amplifier. Despite all these comparisons the songs are strong enough to stand on their own and due to the open and careful production the music is sheer ear candy. Highlight is definitely the nine minute epic ‘Euts’ with its steaming grand finale, although the majestic thunderous riffs at the end of ‘Bears & Potatoes’ are equally impressive.
